Think Pink with The Leather Guy for Breast Cancer Awarness Month
Sewing awl*
I dyed some veg tan with Fiebings Low Voc Dark Brown Dye. I let it sit overnight and wanted to seal it. I applied some Fiebings Resolene and it was immediately tacky. I thought it was strange but let it dry for 20 minutes. Now, it’s tacky to the touch and still is after several hours. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
thanks for this video. _you said $15 dollar bill_
7 yrs later...do you still sell scraps?
Brilliant!!!! I almost spent good money on a micrometer.
Wonderful tutorial!
what is the different between pull up and crazy horse leather?
I need this item plz tell how buy
Well today I learned the difference between an eyelet and a grommet. Cool, to-the-point video with good tips. Thanks a bunch!
How do you deglaze? I have a holster that is "work boot yellow" and I want to dye it dark brown but I don't know how to prep the finish first.
Is Pull up leather vegetable tanned?
I have a faux leather which I died with Angelus paint can I use this product to seal it and Procter against the water?
Would this work on patent leather? The Louis Vuitton Vernis. Thanks
Hi purchased a resolene bottle from Amazon but I think it has gone bad it's not consistent, white flakes have formed in it is it normal pls can someone comment on it
How long to let dry?
I ❤ you leather guy!! I just got a new platinum fox tail and silver fox tail and i love them❤❤ 😊
How do you pull out those upholsteries?
Can you dye cognac colour to white?
Thank you!
Short laces, you have, sir.
Do you need to buff it up a bit? I bought an old shoulder bag off ebay. Its a bit shiny, but very dry. Will I need polish on top of the oil to get the shine back?
Love this method, wish this example had been done in lighter color
Heloo, can we use it for faux leather?
3D World
Yeah the "Scraps" that I got where not scraps. Massive amounts of oil tan leather, for next to nothing! Like I mean I got damn near a side of usable leather for next to nothing. Y'all are getting my money from now on!
How did you cut the leather?
Yes please advise. Thanks!
Can you use this on patent Leather like Vernis?
Wondering how you can get the fold lines out of the hide?
Is tu marabu ink?
Yeppp…what they asked before me !lol.
Leather already is water resistente its made with water
I think he meant that the conditioner form a small wall that water fall on than the leather itself to help it keep its age because you are right leather alone is water resistance that why we wear it in winter but it gets tired with time without protecting and it conditioning and cleaning it
I use gum trag, and i have my burnishing dowel setup on my drill, makes very quick work on the edges, usually just 1 or 2 passes and its amazingly smooth
Hello, what can we use for a SOFT leather lace cutter?
A table mounted lace cutter. It has a bunch of blades.
What would you use with the neatsfoot for the best waterproofing
stiffer than what
Bullshi
I like this better than shaving cream. Nice
I plan to use it on an allsaints black real leather jacket to try to make it a bit darker. Do you think will do the job? What are the dezavanges and does it have any smell?
Might as well just use a needle
That’s it?? You just spray it and call it done? The product has wax. You don’t at least buff it with a cloth after that? Stop calling yourself the leather guy.
Is chromed tanned leather safe? I’m starting to make and sell leather products, but I don’t wanna put anyone at risk, as I have heard that this leather is carcinogenic. What do you think?
Look at the studies yourself. Most things that are man made are carcinogenic whereas natural are not. 1000% veg tan better
No, a good leather conditioner conditions your leather. A leather protector or Dubin makes your leather more water resistant.
Not necessarily. All depends on the type of conditioner you use. Some conditioners have oils/waxes that will make your leather products more hydrophobic.
Отстой какой-то, а не краска для урезов. И это при такой цене...
What do they dye it with? I've seen veg tanned dyed leather. Is it a natural dye?
Is there a front and back surface to the blade?
I just don’t like much darker it makes it look… I love my light leather boots
You can always use Saphir Nappa leather balm
Thanks
What is that liquid
This is great, thank you! Now that I know how to make a locked stitch, do you know if there is a way to make a chain stitch with a sewing awl? I can't seem to figure it out, and I keep ending up with the short end. Thanks again!
very excellent video and it showed me how
